19 February 2012 HELLO SIR GUD EVNG,
whether service tax is to be charged on Annual Maintenance contract ?
whether service tax is to be charged on after sale service rendered to a customer after the sale of goods ?
In case of trader is it required to file service tax return in the above cases?

19 February 2012 yes. service tax applicable on cases.

Incase sales has been made through trader, trader maynot do after sales & services and AMC. the product manufacturing company itself. trader may not come under service tax net. incase the trader take care those areas, then he will be liable to service tax
