Let me know Weather Service Tax Applicable for constructions of education institutions. If applicable, what's the rate and how to calculate rates of tax.

As per the Notifn.No.6/2015-ST, dated 01.03.2015, construction, erection, commissioning, installation, completion, fitting out, repair, maintenance, renovation, or alteration of a structure meant predominantly for use as (i) an educational, (ii) a clinical, or (iii) an art or cultural establishment, the exemption is deleted from 01.04.2015 onwards and it is taxable under Works Contract Service under Service Tax Provisions @ 40% for new constructions.
