04 June 2016 dear all, does sec. 269 SS applicable on deposits accepted by banks from saving / current / fixed deposit account holders.

04 June 2016 the section does not apply to banking company. hence they can accept deposite in cash.

08 June 2016 no this section not applicable they are doing business of the money taking and lending.
