02 December 2009 You joined your duties only on 2nd. Before 1st; you were not employed. Is it true or not? Hence, employer may be right.

But, if your appointment letter says that you will join from the 1st of November,2009; then your employer is wrong. Because you were ready to join; but due to Sundary you could not join.

02 December 2009 AGREE

02 December 2009 absolutely agree

02 December 2009 Better check your employment letter. If it states 1st then the employer is wrong. However, would you like to start your career on a wrong note with such a petty argument. As you have already taken up the matter and accepted their argument, do not pursue any further on this. Create a such a situation that your employer needs you and cannot do without you. You will make up for this one day loss many times over.

03 December 2009 Sunil is saying right, you must dedicate for your job and work honestly and sincerly so co. will provide you the other benefits in long run.
