Can a revised return be filed in reply to a Defective Return u/s 139(9)??
coz I don't have the notice from d dept regarding the Defectiveness of d original return.

If your original return is filed within due date than you can revised it any time up to 31.03.2016, however if return was not timely filed, you can't revise it as defective return, because for same you need, communication order number, date, password etc. For manual filing filing of defective return approach to A.O for issuing of notice.
