27 May 2010 Dear Sir,

I confuse to submit my return because I still not submit my return till today (27-05-10)my Gross salary for the period 01-04-08 to 31-03-09 is 156000/- My question is if I fill or submit my return can i liable to pay any interest or panelty, please help to short out this matter.

27 May 2010 ur gross salary is Rs. 156000/- but if u have any investments like PF, Life insurance policy etc. and ur net income comes below Rs. 150000/- then u need not to worry and can file return for A/Y 2009-10 till 31.03.2011. but if u dont have any investments then ur tax liablity will be Rs. 618/- plus interset @ 1% per month from July 2010 to the date of filing return.
