Can we pay the IGST liability by the SGST ?

21 September 2017 Yes you can.

A. The Input Tax Credit under of CGST shall be:

1) first utilized towards the payment of output CGST
2) then towards the payment of output IGST
3) CGST can’t be used to adjust SGST Liability.

B. The Input Tax Credit under of SGST shall be:

1) first utilized towards the payment of output SGST
2) then towards the payment of output IGST
3) SGST can’t be used to adjust CGST Liability.

C. The Input Tax Credit under of IGST shall be:

1) first utilized towards the payment of output IGST
2) then towards the payment of output CGST
3) then towards the payment of output SGST
