27 August 2013 Dear all,

1. Is power sector exempt from ST?
2.Same unit receives services , Can i take CENVAT credit ?
If yes temme the entry.

If no, tell me why cant it take and what will the entry for the service tax ?

27 August 2013 1. There is no such exemption to power sector from service tax
2. CENVAT credit on inputs and input services is available
