07 June 2011 What is the rate of interest for refund of income tax? from which date refund is calculated?and if refund if from TDS what is the date from which interest is calculated?

from date for 01st of April of next F. Y. i. e. in case of refund for F. Y. 2009 - 10 interest will be granted from 01st April, 2010 till the date of granting such refund.
