26 July 2008 We (deductor) have deposited excess TDS in excess of the amount actually deducted or due to reversal of Entries in the books of accounts in a quarter subsequent to filing of return of tds.

26 July 2008 Hi Sanjeewan,

You may claim for refund of excess TDS deduction as per law but the same is not recommended.

You should rather get the same adjusted against another TDS liability under the same nature.
