Refund of cenvat credit

07 December 2016 Dear Sir/Madam ,
A Pvt Ltd company has cenvat credit of Lakhs together, but there is no service tax liability to set-off . So now can they obtain refund of that cenvat credit ????

07 December 2016 Why no service tax liability ? Is service provided by you exempted from Service Tax ?

10 December 2016 Yes its a construction company - Where they have given subcontract to other party . where after adjusting the service tax liability, still their is a debit balance in service tax payable .
So i wanted to know whether can i claim refund ?
