Hi,
IT dept has made excess refund for AY 2009-10 and later sent a demand notice. It mentioned in the demand letter there is no need to file rectification after I pay demand. After I paid demand IT site still shows the amount as outstanding. In the grievance response I am being asked to file rectification.
Should I file rectification? If so which rectification type should I use?
