For FY 2016-17 AY 2017-18 , rebate from tax u/s 87A is Rs 5000/- if total income does not exceed Rs 5 lakh.
Is there any marginal relief available if income is just above Rs 500000/- say income is Rs 505000/- (Something similar to what is done in case of surcharge on income tax)
