Fundamentals means the concepts. In BIG4, you often get ready-made answers to clients' queries because of the knowledge banks they have.
However, in small size firms you actually do the first hand research due to limited resources available. this helps you getting a better grip on the subjects and make you a better advisor.
I spent 2 years in BIG 4 but rarely did the thorough research.

Depends on what you want? If u want to join industry or big consultancy firms, join big4. If u want your own practice, small firm would be a good idea.

big firms.....can I get in big 4? I m working really hard on my fundamentals,conversational skills,personality and knowledge.dats enough,right?
