My client's company works for custome clearance and charges for the same. Sometimes it also make online payment of Custom duty on the behalf of their customer and accepts the check for this from customers.
Is my client a pure agent as he is paying custom duty on behalf of their customer for which he is not charging any thing.
Is he liable to charge service tax on the payment made by him
