08 October 2013 Hi, I have qualified my CA. And planning to pursue something further ..But not quite sure as to what course to pursue??

08 October 2013 You are a CA that's itself a great Achievement,
However, Courses like CIA {Certified Internal Auditor} and CFA {US} are good course that can be pursued...

However, you can do other professional courses like CWA, CS and MBA..

You can also do other Courses Like CS, CMA, LLb

08 October 2013 Yup MBF [Master in Business Finance]

Syllabus of MBF is very broad and covers approximately every practical aspect that a practicing CA confronts in their daily practice life.

It has not got the recognition as post qualification course.
It is still not known and recognised by the industry.

However, Its better to pursue courses mentioned above...

08 October 2013 What is your area of interest. Like Audits/Taxation/Finance.

And what is your future aspiration.? Will you be starting your own practice or Joining job.

Then you can go for MBA in Finance / Diploma in Taxation.

You can also pursue CS / LLB for getting in-depth knowledge of taxattion

She's already a CA,

The dept of knowledge of Taxation in CA is far better than than any profession...

You can pursue MBA in Finance, it will be a better option as suggested by Vaibhav ji...

09 October 2013 Dear Aryan,

I do agree CA's are the best in Tax.

But with now a days with sole CA degree you can not reach high ladders. You need to know compliance part & having addition degree will fetch you more weightage.

09 October 2013 Agree with Aryanji.

MBA in finance from Reputed college/university would reach you the position of CFO.

CS with CA would reach you the position of CCO(Chief Compliance officer).

Pl note this is my personal view & may vary. There are many good CS / CWA / CA have reached higher position without additional degree.

09 October 2013 My elder Bro only a CA qualified in 4th attempt he's working in Ford as Finance Manager...

Degree only add star but your real merits are your talent and capabilities...
