23 July 2013 Dear Experts,
For some reasons i couldn't submit proofs for rent paid,investments under 80C for my employer.Now while filing returns can I mention them?what are the documents should I provide?

23 July 2013 Claim the benefit of HRA and 80 C while filling ITR. Income tax return is annexure less so no need to provide any documents (keep this documents with you as this documents are need if your case is selected for scrunity.)

23 July 2013 if u have proof then save it for future refrences and it is required only if ITO ask for that else no need to attach any proof now while you can file your return.
