25 January 2011 a)-what is the meaning of following payscale/band? (sr.no 1)
what amt of salary will person get?

b)-pls also tell me what is payband and paygrade?

1) Pay scale 5200-20200 + 2800
plus other allowances
as applicable

25 January 2011 First year 5200+allowances, after that yearly increment is Rs. 2800/-, When the salary will reach Rs. 20200, no increment will be added.

but normarly pay scale is shown as
like 5200-2800-20200
but its shown differntly that is (5200-20200+2800)
both are same?
