Non filing of er3 return.

28 May 2015 As the Central excise Registration obtain just for the formalities just to fullfillment of Requirement. As the Product is exempted from excise duties. As return ER3 not filed since one year. It is mandatory to file the return if product is exempted. What are provisions for the same.As Penalty has to pay able or not.Pl. Advise.

28 May 2015 Once you have registered under central excise then filing of return is mandatory. The non-filing of return penalty can be imposed per return of Rs. 5000/-. You should consult with any professional.
