23 September 2014 As per the current budget tax slab had been increased to 2l to 2.5l
When is the new tax slab is amendment

23 September 2014 Basic exemption limit has been increated to 2.5 lacs from 2 lacs and it is applicable from Financial Year 2014-15 (Assessment Year 2015-16)
