New rate effective from which date

Plz let me know from which date the new service tax rate will be applicable.

Also if the date is announced later on whether I have to pay service tax for previous period also i.e from 1 april 2015.

02 April 2015 we cant say as new rate is being not notified... so until the date it get notified, old rate wil b in exsitence dear.....

02 April 2015 firstly no date of applicability of service tax is notified and for prior peroid of notification old rate i.e 12.36% will be applicable.
