Mytds not reflecting in form26as

15 May 2013 I got my Form16 yesterday, but i am NOT able to find TDS details on TIN NSDL (Form 26AS - TRACES) Website. Whether can i submit my IT Returns now? (or) i have to wait till it appears on Traces Website?

15 May 2013 however itr1 for a.y.2013-14 was released it is recommended to wait till your tds details reflects in your 26as

15 May 2013 Thats Fine, I also have a doubt that if it doesn't reflect till July 31st (OR) my employer doesn't file Form24. What should be my option?

15 May 2013 It was the duty of the deductor to provide the TDS certificate to the taxpayer, to enable him to claim credit for the TDS so deducted.
The I-T Act has the necessary provisions to levy and recover interest from the company for the period the TDS was deducted but not deposited in the government account. It could also levy a penalty and the company was liable to punishment under the Act.

if he defaults
you can file your ITR claiming tds deducted as per your payslips/form16

15 May 2013 Thanks, it was very helpful. In my scenario, they have paid the tax to the government, i am able to verify that, but they have not uploaded form24, so that it reflects on my TDS as salary. Am i Right?

15 May 2013 IT WILL NOT BE A PROBLEM KRISHNA
THEY WILL UPDATE WITH OUT ANY FILE

TODAY IS THE LAST DATE TO FILE FOR JAN-MARCH QUARTER..

OTHER WISE 200 PER DAY OF DEFAULT IS THE FEE APPLICABLE

15 May 2013 Ganeshbabu K is right, you can file your return with using the details of form 16, as TDS is already deducted from your salary.
