23 October 2014 difference between quasi &implied contract

23 October 2014 A quasi contract is not an actual contract but rather an obligation imposed by law . Quasi contract are non intentional and both the parties never intended to enter into the contract but through law they do for example : suppose you are walking down a street and you see a cell phone on the ground that someone might have dropped so now it is your obligation to return that cell phone to the owner and this was you enter into a contract
Let us take an other example for quasi contract suppose A sends Goods to B but by mistake it Reaches to C now its C's obligation to return those Goods to A and this way they form a contract known as quasi contract.
IMPLIED CONTRACT : It is that contract in which a person enters into the contract INTENTIONALLY but his act and surrounding he need not to express it , it is understood by the situation or circumstance
for example : when you go to a restaurant you sit and order things you want and after eating all this you will have to pay the bill you need not to sign any agreement for it , it is IMPLIED that you have eaten food there so you have already known that you will have to pay in the end
let us take another example , suppose you travel in a taxi , what you do is sit in the cab and tell him your destination he takes you there so after reaching there it is implied that you will have to pay the taxi fare and you knew this from the very beginning so it was Intentional.
