Maintenance of sr. no. in excise books

25 February 2014 Hello Friends,

in RG 23A PArt I orII if sr.No. are not given properly ie. by mistake serial number is not in sequense

For Ex.after 589 its starts from 601,602 etc
will be there any penal provision for such mistake done in RG Books ??
