macros is useful in doing repeated task . u can use it when ever u have to do the same task again & again the simple way to create a macro in excel is to record macros......if you are using excel 97-2003 then
Tools----macros------record new macros
follow the instruction and do your task which u want to do again and again after that stop the recording of macro...
now press the shortcut key ,which u had entered while recording macro
take care of absolute reference or relative reference of cell
