list of the rate of service tax on different services

can anyone give me the list of service tax charged on different catageries or on different services.

i will be glad to get this.

11 April 2009 The current rate of service tax is 10% plus 2% ed cess and 1% SHE cess.

All services are subject to this rate

But there are 12 services which enjoy abatement from the taxable value.

Eg. Rent a cab services gets 60% abatement

so if he raises a bill of Rs. 100/- he will charge service tax on Rs. 40 @ 10% Plus 2% plus 1% as above.

If you divide the service tax with Rs. 100 the % will be 4.12% but what actually he has paid is 10+2+1
