Sir, I am M.S.Natarajan.Now there is a circular to link AADHAR card with PAN CARD. My name in pan is Mahadhanapram Saptharishi Natarajan. In AADHAR it is Natarajan MS In my ration card,Driving Licence,Bank account,voter Id etc mentioned as Natarajan MS. Therefore if I change the name in AADHAR as Mahadhanapram Saptharishi Natarajan I may have name difference in others (ration card etc.,). When I tried to change the name in PAN card it was suggested by one that in future the offices may ask for expansion of names. Further some long & expensive procedures with revenue department in changing the name in PAN CARD is there. Therefore I am not able to decide which one is beneficial for me. I request you to kindly guide me in which one I have to change the name whether it is in AADHAR or PAN CARD. With kind regards, M.S.Natarajan 28.04.2017. 09245730898

To change the name in PAN card is not expensive since it cost only Rs.117.But to change the name in PAN card as per Aadhar card , you have to click the link "Authenticate" with Aadhar, But only think is ,the success rate in that mode is negligible and in case of failure your fee will be refunded. Please wait for sometime as the Govt may change the linking process.

Now I have linked the pan card with AADHAR card.It has not asked me to change my name.It has just linked.This is the procedure. Visit the page of Income tax e-filling portal & register if you are not registered with it. If you have your registration already then just login. Login with the details i.e. registration ID, Password or date of birth. Your PAN no. will be your registration ID once you login you will immediately get a pop-up to link your aadhaar with PAN If you don’t get a pop message then check the blue bar above and click on “Profile setting” and then on “Link aadhaar” in the list.(thanks to jago investor) Natarajan
