In big 4s ,leave is an issue.But otherwise the kind of exposure,knowledge and training you get is always an added advantage.Many companies and firms clearly states that candidates with big 4 exposure will be preferred. See,anyhow you have to decide an area of expertise ,so once you go there in big 4s,have a detailed discussion about what areas they want you to work in. Discuss about the same with your seniors and friends and then take a final step. If you do articleship properly then infact you won't find much difficulty in tax,AS,audit,law.
