05 December 2012 ACTUALLY I WANT TO FILE REVISE RETURN AS TO CLAIM REFUND FOR AY10-11 IS IT TOO LATE AND PLS GIVE ME GUIDANCE ON THIS AND PROVIDE ME LINK TO FILE RETURN AS I AM NEW TO THIS FIELD HELP ME HIGLY OBLIGED OF YOU IF YOU CONSIDER IT

05 December 2012 For the AY 2010-11, the due date for filing Income tax return to get refund is expired on 31.03.2012 and time barred.

However, U can file belated IT returns for the AY 2011-12 till 31.03.2013 and AY 2012-13 till 31.03.2014.

05 December 2012 A belated/revised return can be filed within 1 year from the end of relevant assessment year. So for A.Y 10-11, the last date for filing belated return is 31.3.12.The date is already passed. Hence it is not possible to file the return now.
