its URGENT- MVAT paid by depositing cheque into the bank ??

i was not aware that epayment of MVAT has become mandatory for all dealers. i filled the challan 210 and gave it to the client who deposited the same into his bank. bank told him to collect the acknowledgment after 15 days.
what should i do now ??
