20 July 2013 if original return is filed and acknowledgement generate ,but there was mistake in return
Can i rectify this error?

Can revised return overwrite original return?

20 July 2013 Yes you can file a Revise return Subject to the fact that the original return must have been submitted within due dates.

20 July 2013 Sir you have already submitted your original return with the department as per your first statement so you are not required to submit it again.

20 July 2013 when did u filed your original return u shoud check that.
is should have been filed within 31.7 of rel AY or 30.9 of AY as the case may be, then only he can file revise return.
