20 September 2014 On my refund CPC has given interest .How they calculate interest,i mean from which date the calculate interest is calculated and what is the rate.

20 September 2014 Refer Section 244A. Interest on Refund paid @ 0.5% per month from the 1st day of April of the assessment year to the date on which the refund is granted.
