According to my view, said appointment will not meet the qualification criteria for independent director
The new act provides that neither the independent director nor any of his/her relatives Holds or has held a key managerial position or is or had been an employee of the company or its holding, subsidiary or associate company in any of the 3 financial years preceding the financial year in which he/ she is proposed to be appointed
