Can pay income Tax through 2 cheques in 1 day????

yes, why not.....it is assessee's cheque...let it use as many cheques as it wants......
(See, in real life situation, it so happens that the signatory may have a signing limit per cheque.... in such cases, at times tax is paid in 2 or 3 cheques, as the case may be)
