my company a proprietorship firm has deposited the tax demand u/s 143 (1) for the AY 2008-09 and 2010-11 few days back through online challan. But online page of incometax e filing still showing the same demand under outstanding tax demand. What do I do ??
You have to inform to the department regarding payment of demand with details and enclosures of tax payment challanas then only it will adjust against your outstanding demand.
