PLEASE GIVE ME THE RULES OF SHORT TERM PROFIT/LOSS IN SHARE TRADING FOR ITR FILING. WHAT IS THE STATUS OF INTRA-DAY TRADES? HOULD I INCLUDE THE PROFIT/LOSS OF INTRA DAY TRADES IN SHORT TERM PROFIT/LOSS? FURTHER THE BROKER GIVES STATEMENT ONLY FOR COMPANY WISE PROFIT/LOSS IN THE FINANICAL YEAR FOR ALL TRADES. HOW CAN I JUDGE THE SHORT TERM
TRADING PROFIT/LOSS?

29 May 2011 Profit/ Loss from the delivery based transactions are called short term/ long term capital gain/ loss. Profit/ Loss from intra day trades call business income/ loss. In your ITR you should show separtely.
