Incentive payable

17 September 2011 Company makes provision for incentive payable in the books but it is not paid before due date for filing of the return.

Under these circumstances:

1) Provision for Incentive payable will be disallowed u/s 43 B read with Sec36(1)(ii).
2) Whether incentive can be equated with Bonus or commission

21 September 2011 It will be disallowed, incentive depend upon sale after achieving fixed target but commission is given on every sale or avery transaction.
