sympathize with the issue but little you can do...you cannot sue ICAI for not giving marks on the basis of suggested answers...the examiner is not bound by the suggested answer...

its all the ca student problem. eventhough the answers are from icai study material and also 100% right, icai is deducting the marks like this.Due to this the ca students year got wasted

well ICAI, as per rules have the right to restrict the number of students passing the exam. the regulations are in public and students should be aware of the same while entering the course

its true but due to this student get frustrated and it has many reasons like:- 1)mental stress,2)parents getting angry,3)relatives problems,4)negativity abt studies 4)eventhough sruggling a-lot and capable of it and also writing accurate answrs but not passing, etc, etc how to get out of it i think icai should do smething for it

well according to you what to do join other course or struggle for ca? some are lucky that they got passed with good marks even not by stuggling hard and after geeting job they don't know anything.here's come the luck factor also and what abt deserving students who got fail b'coz of poor checking and hard luck?
25 September 2014
i dont believe hard working good students fail...do you see anyone complaining about failing in CFA despite so many people failing in it? problem is that due to very high passing percentage in past years, students have start feeling that CA exams are easy and everyone should pass.
Honestly, how many do go for CA without coaching...most of us believe that coaching is sufficient:)

i also got info from someone that icai ca exams pass % are pre-decided accorting to jobs and market conditions?
26 September 2014
that is the whole point of giving ICAI that power...to control the number of chartered accountants as per demand...it was only foolishness of a few ICAI Presidents who raised passing percentage upto 30%...that created a glut in the market resulting in fall in salaries and created a pool of unemployed chartered accountants..

so in this case one should quit ca then na?
26 September 2014
well if you feel you be able to clear, the why not....I see it this way...lets say ICAI wants only 2% to pass, then the top 2% will be cleared and rest will be failed...it all depends on whether you can be that 2% or not
