I haven't received my it returns amount (Income Tax)

Sir,

I am Sirisha. I have filed my IT returns in June 2011 through one of my accounts executive in my previous company. I haven't even received the acknowledgement slip for that. Till now I haven't received my refund amount.

Please let me know what is process to receive the amount and when can I expect it.

I think first you need to talk to your previous company accounts executive for Acknowledgement. you has to received that only from him/her.

but how can you know your it returns has been filed in june 2011 without acknowledgement

i think you may have to collect acknowledgement first

He was saying that he has already given the acknowledgement copy, but he didn't give it to me.

Please let me know what is the process if acknowledgement is lost.

then you have to go to that concern Income tax ward and ask their AO for acknowledgement copy with a letter of request

Also please let me know the list of documents which i need to carry along with me to submit to AO.

first prepare a letter of request for allot a copy of lost return give space for acknowledgement no. which you will knew after you ask AO for the same.

they will ask you to pay fees near to 100 or 120 by challan for the purpose attached with letter

please do photocopy of that letter and take receiver signature for future aspect.

when you give that letter ask them when they will give a copy of return by this they will give a copy of return which is filed by executive
