09 January 2014 Mr. X own a house which is self occupied. he pays the interest on home loan and repays the principal amount and claims deduction under respective heads.
Mr. X also pays rent of another house where his Parents reside.

Can Mr X claim HRA exemption also??

No he can not avail HRA since he is not residing in that place.
