How to search jobs

19 January 2017 Hello experts,

I qualified as a CA in recently declared results. I passed both groups in 4th attempt.

I want to ask how should I look for jobs, preferably my interest includes joining Big 4s. Are attempts a criteria for Big 4s and also I do not have any good references over there.

I still have to complete my gmcs ..

I am expecting some detailed suggestions.

26 January 2017 Firstly congratulations on passing your CA Final Examination.

You can upload your CV on job portals such as Naukri, Monster, Shine etc. Yes, some profiles are viewed based on number of attempts. Try devising an impressive CV and share it with any of your friends working there or share it through job consultants. Reference is not an absolute necessity. if you have it, just carries more weight,

Till you get job complete your GMCS at the mean time and broaden your network which may surely help from short to long term perspective.
