Hi, I payed extra tax of around 12900/- for the year 2008-2009 on 27th july 2009 i.e. Assesment year is 2009-2010.At that time I was in pune, so payed there.Tax returns subimteed manually.From Sept 2010 i moved to Hyderabad. From then after I am submitting returns in hyderabad. So now if i want to process for refund of 2009 where should I contact and what is the procedure. Thanks in advacne, eagerly waiting for the response.

Kindly login on your income tax account and check whether return has been processed or not. As you have filed your ITR Manually, refund will be processed by your ITO, so you first have to contact your Income Tax Officer either personally or through someone else. He only can guide you for processing of refund.
Further you can also file refund application under form 30.
