The provisions of Registered Valuer under the Companies Act, 2013 are not yet notified. So as of now no one can apply for being registered as registered valuer under the Act.
However, in Companies(Share Capital and Debenture) Amendment Rules,2014 it is clarified that till the provisions are not notified the valuation report shall be given Independent Merchant Banker Registered with SEBI or Independent Chartered Accountant in practice having minimum experience of 10 years.
