How to correct mismatch figures in itr after receiving notic

24 August 2013 A person who had filed online return for the FY 2011-12 AY 2012-13, received a intimation for mismatch of figures. Mismatch of figures has occured due typographical error in the amount of TDS claimed column.
eg ASmount to be claimed as 1269 has been typed as 1427. and .3108.59 has been typed as 3109. PLS ADVISE PROCEDURE TO DO TO SO AS REFUND IS DUE .

24 August 2013 You can do rectification online

1)Login to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/

2)Go to "My Account" and there you choose "Rectification request"

3)Submit and there you need to enter details as per intimations that you have received ,,cpc order no..and others

4)Select tds credit mismatch

5)enter details of tds as per 26as and submit again

Done...!!!it will get processed afer 15 days..

you made mistake in providing cpc refence number,,check properly in your intimation and follow instructions there in rectification

only problem is you have to give correct number as you got in latest cpc reference number..

just try..
