Dear Sir, I want to add one more service to our companies service tax registration. what are the procedure for doing that. Is it possible through? How many times we can add services to the service tax registration? Please give me a clarity in this situations Please explain step by step.
There is no limit for amendment of Service Tax Registration. The procedure to amend the Service tax registration is listed below: -
1. First of all you have to login on ACES website with the user id and password created at the time of new registration. 2. Then go to REG tab, there will be option of "Amend Registration" Click on the same. 3. Then it will show the list of registration. Kindly select the registration which is to be amended. 4. After selecting the above, a form "Amend ST - 1" will appear on the screen. Please make the amendment as per your requirement like (Address, Description of Service, Details of Partners etc.) 5. After making the desired amendment in the form, please clink on "Save and Continue". 6. After that screen for confirmation of all the details will appear, where you can take the print of amended form and then you can submit the same. 7. After submission of the same, Kindly take the print of Acknowledgement and submit the same with the amended form (As per Step no. 6) and get it signed from authorized signatory and submit it along with the requisite documents to Service Tax Department.
