My brother and I both have taken housing loan jointly 50% each share. But Interest and principal amount both clear from my bank accounts. So, my query is, can my brother get 50% deduction under 80c on principal amount and 50% deduction on interest amount? We confuse here because payment cleared from my bank account not my brother bank account.
