15 June 2017 Are retirement benefits (Gratuity & Leave Encashment) received from MSEDCL (Maharashtra State Electricity Distributon Co. Ltd.) taxable ?
More than 51% of the stake is of Government.
Please resolve my query.

15 June 2017 It is a Govt company not a Govt dept hence taxable if payment exceeds limits.
