08 November 2012 An employee work for less than 5 years but the gratuity amount has been shown in CTC letter given to the employee then whether he is eligible for gratuity ?

If he resigns after completion of 4yrs & 240 days.

Before that gratuity not to pay even if it is hown in CTC.
