30 August 2014 if any statutory auditor of a pvt. ltd. company has been resigned in 30-08-20014, can a new auditor appointed in his place can audit the balance sheet for the year 2014 tilll the date of agm or not?

30 August 2014 Yes Shruti new auditor can do the same.
but resigning auditor require to comply to provisions of new companies act.
