can any one tell me what is the difference between limited co. & pvt. ltd company.

05 July 2008 Limited company is Public company where in money is raised from public at large including share capital, deposits etc.,

Private limited company is the one where money is raised from only few persons limited to maximum of 50.

Refer companies act 1956 for exact definitions
